WASHINGTON — House GOP Reps. Martha Roby, Mike Rogers and Mo Brooks sent campaign checks to Bradley Byrne in the Republican runoff in the 1st Congressional District of Mobile.

The  political action committees affiliated with the three members of Congress gave $2,500 each to Byrne’s campaign, according to Federal Election Commission reports. Southwest Alabama voters decide next week whether Byrne or Dean Young will be the Republican nominee in the special election to replace Rep. Jo Bonner of Mobile.

Byrne’s list of donors also includes House members from other states, including $10,000 from a PAC affiliated with House Majority Leader Eric Cantor of Virginia. And Bonner’s former campaign account also gave $2,000.
