Former Sen. Hap Myers, R-Mobile

Former state Sen. Hap Myers, R-Mobile, died Wednesday after a long battle with cancer, according to Senate Majority Leader Jabo Waggoner’s office.

Myers, 72, was first elected to the Senate in 1994 and served three terms before stepping down in 2006.  An Auburn graduate, Myers worked as a professional engineer for 40 years.

““He always handled himself as a gentleman and served his constituents and his state with the utmost honesty and integrity,”  Waggoner said in a statement.  “His loss to the state is truly immeasurable.”

Myers is survived by his wife and three children.

just so she can be a youtube sensation. My
apple ipad is now destroyed and she has 83 views. I know this is completely off topic but I had to share it with someone!
