Tony Mitchell scored 16 points, JaMychal Green had 12 points and nine rebounds, and Trevor Releford added 10 points for the Tide (21-11).
The Wildcats (24-8) had five players in double figures. Doron Lamb had 15, Josh Harrellson and DeAndre Liggins 14 each, Brandon Knight 12 and Darius Miller 10.
Kentucky shot 50 percent for the game, including 56 percent in the second half. The Wildcats hit seven straight shots at one point, including three 3-pointers.
