Half: Tigers 31, Tide 25

Kenny Gabriel’s six points has helped Auburn take a 31-25 halftime lead over Alabama.

The Crimson Tide is shooting a lava-like 23 percent — and that’s an improvement. Alabama was scoreless from the field for the first eight minutes and was 2-of-17 over the first 17 1/2 minutes.

JaMychal Green has nine points on 3-of-9 shooting to lead Alabama. Auburn led 31-16 before the Tide scored nine straight to end the half. Charles Hankerson’s 3-pointer made it a six-point game. Hankerson has five points since SEC play began.
