Welcome to the Georgia Dome.

Auburn 56
South Carolina 17
FINAL

—FIRST QUARTER—

AUBURN TOUCHDOWN @ 13:20 — Onterio McCalebb 14 pass from Cam Newton. PAT kick good. Drive covered 77 yards in 4 plays. The big play was a 62-yard pass to Darvin Adams. It was a Statue of Liberty play of some kind. USC had no idea what was happening.

USC TOUCHDOWN @ 9:53 — Patrick DiMarco 25 pass from Stephen Garcia. PAT kick good. Drive covered 75 yards in 7 plays. Garcia goes 6-for-6 on that drive. Rutt row.

AUBURN TOUCHDOWN @ 5:31 — Newton 5 run. PAT kick good. Drive covered 74 yards in 12 plays. This was another classic Newton performance. Auburn converted two third downs. One was a 20-yard run by No. 2. The other was a ramblin, scramblin pass to Adams for 13 yards. If USC can’t stop Auburn on 3rd-and-long, it’s in serious trouble.

AUBURN TOUCHDOWN @ 2:09 — Adams 54 pass from Newton. PAT kick good. Drive covers 66 yards in 4 plays. Newton pump fakes on the play, the USC defensive back is frozen, Adams makes a second move and he’s gone bye bye. USC can’t afford to get down by more than 14. Auburn will start running Newton and grinding it out.

—SECOND QUARTER—

USC TOUCHDOWN @ 0:16 — Alshon Jeffery 1 pass from Garcia. PAT kick is good. Drive covers 80 yards in 9 plays. Auburn makes a major mistake on 3rd-and-9 late in the drive, allowing Marcus Lattimore open space on a drag route. The Tigers were in dime coverage with Zac Etheridge on Lattimore. You could call that a mismatch.

AUBURN TOUCHDOWN @ 0:00 — Adams 51 pass from Newton. PAT kick good. Drive covers 59 yards in 2 plays. What a crazy sequence. Auburn throws a quick out to Emory Blake to get the ball to the AU 41. The coaches knew something. So Newton makes the throw into the end zone, DeVonte Holloman tips the ball and Adams makes the grab.

—THIRD QUARTER—

AUBURN TOUCHDOWN @ 7:56 — Newton 1 run. PAT kick good. Drive covers 75 yards in 7 plays. Newton has his hands all over that drive. He converted a third down with a 25-yard run. He hit Emory Blake on a long pass down the left sideline. South Carolina may already be cooked.
